I have been able to live out and enjoy my artistic creation during my studies at the Zurich University of the Arts in the Trends & Identity specialization of the Department of Design. The medium of clay has captivated me, and I began to engage with ceramics, its symbolism, its position in society, as well as the language of forms and colours. I draw inspiration from the details of everyday life: a drawbridge, the orange slice dancing in an Aperol glass, the green blue of the Limmat River viewed from the Kornhaus Bridge, and the warm ceiling of the old tram no. 4.

After several art exhibitions – among others at Bad zum Raben in Baden and Zimmermannhaus in Brugg – where I explored ceramics and tested both material and social boundaries. I began to focus on the daily operational work in the pottery studio die Kleine Töpferei during my internship, and subsequently on the didactics of workshops. Additionally, I can be found working as a bartender in Zurich, as I cherish the preparation of drinks and the contact with customers.

My goal is to bring more joy to people's everyday lives through my ceramics and to put a smile on their faces. Therefore, I strive to navigate between design and art with my ceramics, claiming the best of both worlds. This also allows me to share my knowledge.
